The 8th annual Indian Trail Holiday Bazaar was held from Saturday the 21st. Admission to the event was free and the bazaar was at capacity for vendors with 79 booths to shop with. Products available were new and or handmade, and some of the featured include wood crafts, kitchen essentials, holiday crafts and decorations, beauty supplies, quilted items, books, baked goods, candles, jewelry, primitive art and furniture, crochet items, bows and tutus, home decorations, gourds, clay pottery and so much more.

All proceeds benefited the Indian Trail PTA. Every year the PTA donates money to the library for books. They also give every teacher $100 for classroom needs and they award two $500 scholarships to past Indian Trail high school seniors. At the end of the school year they sponsor the fifth grade recognition celebration. In the past the PTA partially paid for two phases of a new playground and had a pavilion placed on the playground. This year the PTA is raising funds to have a playground installed for the preschool and kindergarten students. The annual event is always held the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

The PTA and the holiday bazaar committee worked to make this their biggest bazaar so far. They had help from many individuals in the community and several local businesses have given donations as well, including: Kabelin’s Ace Hardware, Big C Lumber, Jennie Rae’s, Round The Clock, Arnett Construction, realtor at 1st Choice Realty Group Patrick Pancek, Louis, Lewis Bakeries and Marshall’s.
