“I have always been involved in drama. I always felt like I was caged in it, and I couldn’t escape. Once I found basketball, I realized that none of the drama I had really mattered. Being on a team with great people and an amazing coach really took my mind off of things. Now instead of being about who fought who, or who cheated on somebody, I am focused on becoming the best I can in basketball.”
