  • What does it mean to you to have a chance to be Homecoming Queen?: “It is an  honor to represent my club and school.”
  • Why do you think you are a good candidate?: “I believe that I am a great candidate because I have been supporting and active in art club for all four years of my high school career.”

 

Averie Castro

  • What does it mean to you to have a chance to be Homecoming Queen?: “I am happy to have a chance to represent my club, along with my sports and friends.”
  • Why do you think you are a good candidate?: “I have school spirit.”

 

Adamary Cruz- Mejia

  • What does it mean to you to have a chance to be Homecoming Queen?: “It would mean that my goal to leave a positive effect on others is truly being achieved.”

  • What does it mean to you to have a chance to be Homecoming Queen?: “To me, being Hoco Queen means that kindness can get you places.”
  • Why do you think you are a good candidate?: “I think I am a good Hoco candidate because I am involved in the school through academics, social club, and sports and because I have a lot of school spirit.”

 

Lauren Hertges

  • What does it mean to you to have a chance to be Homecoming Queen?:  “To me, being nominated for Homecoming Queen shows me that I am making a noticeable impact at LPHS and that my peers see me as someone who leads and represents LPHS well.”
  • Why do you think you are a good candidate?: “I believe that I am a good candidate because I have been involved in multiple activities, sports, and clubs at LPHS where I have shown my school spirit and LP pride well.”

Morelia Robles – Homecoming Queen

  • What does it mean to you to have a chance to be Homecoming Queen?: ¨It will be a big achievement, not just for me, but for my family. This is crazy just for me being in the top ten. I can’t even explain how awesome that is, plus it will make me very emotional!¨
  • Why do you think you are a good candidate?: ¨This question is hard to answer. I feel like many people like me for my personality. I make them laugh, and I just live my life like it’s raindrops and gummy bears. I just want people to know that being yourself can get you to where you are now. Just be you.¨

  • Why do you think you are a good candidate?: “I firmly believe I am a good candidate because no one has more Slicer pride than me, and I am always ‘rowing the boat.’”

  • What does it mean to you to have a chance to be Homecoming King?: “I feel lucky and relieved because there are only 10 others in my position to win.”
  • Why do you think you are a good candidate?: “I think I am a good candidate because I feel that I’m a good representative and role model for LPHS.”
